Situated in a beautiful part of Catalunya, the Costa Brava or wild coast, boasts secluded beaches, charming little fishing coves, medieval hilltop villages, spectacular coastal walking routes, excellent food ranging from honest country food to world class cuisine. The area is totally understated yet chic and never disappoints.

The closest beach at the cove of Sa Tuna is a stones throw away - a twenty minute hill and coastal path walk or a few minutes drive down the hill from the house. Set in a protected bay, it is recognised as one of the jewels on the coast. The authentic and charming little village square and beach front have three great restaurants overlooking the bay, an artisan ice-cream parlour and tiny seaside gift shop.

Begur, a handsome village topped with a crumbling medieval castle, is ten minutes drive away.  There are restaurants, pavement cafés and late night bars. The village centre is beautifully restored and has lovely interior/gift/fashion little shops, a butcher, bakery, patisserie, delicatessen, seafood and fish monger, as well as, a small supermarket to provide all of your shopping needs.

In addition to the coast there are many attractions inland including superb golf courses, horse riding, seasonal skiing, biking and walking country with stunning views of the rugged coast, the hills and the Pyrenees in the distance.
